Wildflower is a major project by Flintstones Masonry & Home Improvements and is located on a hillside in Victoria, BC. The backyard of the home was so steeply sloping prior to the project, that it was virtually unusable. Extensive manipulation of grades allowed for a raised pool deck and kitchen area resulting in an expansive area for the clients to enjoy and entertain. The project features a complementary combination of materials with varying and contrasting textures: coloured concrete, pre-cast concrete, flamed basalt, and ledge stone, and pairs beautifully with the ideally situated, hand-cast concrete, Paloform Miso firepit.
