We are very excited to announce that our complete line of modern outdoor fire pits are now CE certified for sale in the European Economic Area. The CE certification process for fire pits is a “Type Examination” and is governed by the European Gas Appliance Directive 2009/142/EC. This means that our modern fire pits were laboratory tested by a Notified Body (an organization that has been accredited by a Member State) to meet the standard for gas appliances of their type. For Europe, our fire pits have been tested and approved for use with natural gas types G20 and G25, and propane type G31 at 37 and 50 mbar.
The CE certificate covers the following countries:
