The Apartment Collection chose Corten steel fire pits for two adjacent boutique properties at Bay Meadows in San Mateo, California. Featured as part of their common area amenities, the fire pits create social hubs in these public spaces. Quimby included a Bento 42 Corten in its cozy outdoor lounge area while The Russell used the longer Robata 72 Corten for the seating area in its expansive courtyard. Both fire pits utilize tempered glass screens and are set in river stone beds to allow for Corten steel run-off.
