Rising above Victoria, Canada, One Bear Mountain Resort is the island community’s first concrete and steel condominium development in fifteen years.
At the heart of the project is the Troon Lounge and Terrace, a large outdoor amenity designed to support year-round use and bring residents together.

Fire plays a central role in defining this communal space with a series of Komodo linear fire pits spanning the main outdoor terrace.

At 29 feet long, they form a dramatic divider between the expansive outdoor lounge area and the more activity-focused indoor space, while maintaining unobstructed views. Their clean, linear design echoes the architecture and visually organizes the terrace without competing with the surrounding landscape.

In smaller seating areas, Miso concrete fire bowls create more intimate settings. Their low-profile, minimal forms offer warmth and visual focus without overwhelming conversation or dominating sightlines.

Anchoring a third lounge area is the Robata 54 fire pit. Its low, linear design, in concrete and stainless steel, blurs the line between furniture and fire, providing both a functional table to gather around and a controlled flame that complements the terrace’s contemporary aesthetic.
Together, these fire features elevate the Troon Lounge and Terrace into a cohesive, inviting outdoor environment. At One Bear Mountain Resort, fire is not an afterthought—it is a defining element that enhances comfort, usability, and the overall resident experience.
