Our Robata stainless steel table tops are intended to be functional and attractive for many years. As with all outdoor furnishings, the Robata tops should be regularly maintained to keep them looking their best.

• For general cleaning, a mild solution of dish soap and water and a soft cloth will suffice. After washing, use a clean cloth to dry the surface in the direction of the brushed grain.
• Applying a monthly treatment with an outdoor stainless steel cleaner/protector is an effective way to maintain your table tops. This will add a thin layer of protectant that shields the steel from acidic substances, that can pit the surface over time or cause small rust spots.
• These cleaners also ensure a streak and smudge-free finish. An example of a stainless steel protector is the 3M Stainless Steel Cleaner & Protector from Scotchgard, but many are available.
• A Scotchbrite or 3M green buffing pad may remove light scratches and tarnish. To remove light scratches or marks that cannot be removed with cleaner, rub lightly using the buffing pad, moving only in the direction of the grain and maintaining even pressure.
